Through the power of collective representation, AGNC members stand together to protect the values, interests and way of life that defines the people of Northwest Colorado. As individuals, we are strong. United in purpose we ignite vision, empower resilience, and elevate the future of our region.

Mission

AGNC builds connections to convene resources, ideas, and policies that strengthen our region's growth, resilience, and values.

Collectively we influence policy and leverage resources at the local, state, and federal levels to support our region. We believe that local voices should be heard, rural communities should be treasured, and our future should be shaped by the people who live here.

Vision

Honoring Northwest Colorado's pioneering spirit, AGNC facilitates collaboration and champions resilient economies for long-term prosperity.

A single voice calls for action, a unified voice commands attention, drives momentum, and delivers results. We believe in the power of one, and the force of the collective.

AGNC. Advocate. Grow. Navigate. Collaborate.

This is our Purpose. This is our Promise. This is our Invitation to Join.

How We’re Structured

AGNC operates through three distinct districts that offer different benefits: Each district has different boundaries. Collectively we are the regional voice for Northwest Colorado.

  • Council of Governments (COG): A unified voice for local governments in Northwest Colorado, working together to address regional challenges and priorities.
  • Economic Development District (EDD): Focused on strengthening businesses, industries, and communities through strategic planning, innovation, workforce development, infrastructure expansion, and responsible economic growth.
  • Northwest Colorado Enterprise Zone (EZ): Stimulates investment and job creation with tax credits that reward employers, entrepreneurs, and community-minded investors.

AGNC has been the regional convener of people, ideas and resources for Northwest Colorado for over five decades—pooling resources, amplifying local leadership, and planning for a stronger, more resilient future.
