the AGNC economic development district (edd) is pleased to announce that the 2026–2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE U.S. eCONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR FINAL APPROVAL.
Developed through county meetings, regional discussions, public surveys, economic data analysis, and input from businesses, local governments, community organizations, and residents, the CEDS identifies the shared priorities, challenges, and opportunities of Northwest Colorado’s five-county region. The draft reflects extensive regional research, county-level SWOT discussions, public survey responses, economic and demographic analysis, and guidance from the EDD/CEDS Committee. It establishes the region’s strategic direction around five goals:
- Healthy Communities
- Economic Vitality
- Extraordinary Infrastructure
- Strong Communities
- Future Preparedness
AGNC has reviewed all public comments received, made appropriate revisions, added appropriate photos and visual effects, and received approval by the AGNC EDD Board of Directors on September 16, 2026. The CEDS have now been submitted for final consideration to the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
