Disaster loans available to Colorado businesses affected by summer wildfires

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest federal disaster loans to help small businesses and private nonprofits recover from summer wildfires that burned across western Colorado. At the request of Gov. Jared Polis, the SBA toured the town of Meeker and surrounding areas after the Elk Fire burned 14,549 acres and the Lee Fire burned 137,758 acres.
